Proper Preparation
Far in advance of departure, it's important to get prepared. We board numerous pets, and, in order to ensure they are all safe and healthy, there are certain guidelines we must follow. For starters, ensure your pet is vaccinated. Check their records and verify that everything is up-to-date. Furthermore, keep this documentation handy so you can show us when you come in. It's also important that you have ample medication available to last the duration of your trip along with an emergency contact list we can refer to if necessary.
Safety and Comfort First
While your pet is under our care, we ensure they are safe and happy. During the day, we allow them to get plenty of exercise, and they can retire comfortably at the end of the day in the same room as your other pets if requested. We are flexible to meet your needs.

With only 15 dog rooms our intimate pet lodge is a great choice for your pet. We provide rooms for your pet with doors and have no chain link inside whatsoever. We believe that your dog should be comfortable, so we have heated floors and extra large, private outdoor runs to play in. Each dog has his or her own private quarters both for safety and comfort. Each suite is spacious and welcoming with its own private outdoor run, allowing your dog to explore and exercise at leisure. You can choose the size that will suit your pet and even request additional services like extra treats and nature hikes. If you are boarding more than one dog, you have the option of having them share a room or staying in adjoining suites so that your pets can stay together, easing the transition.
Preparing Your Dog for Boarding
To get the most from our services, you can help by preparing your dog for the boarding experience.
In addition to boarding dogs, we also offer boarding services for cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits and other small animals. If you have additional pets that require boarding, please contact us to make arrangements.
-- Check that your pet's vaccinations are up-to-date as we do require you to bring a copy of your dog’s up-to-date shot records.
-- If your dog requires medication, check to make sure that you have an adequate supply to last the entire time your pet will be boarded. Get a note from your veterinarian to explain the medications and provide instructions.
-- If your dog has any special needs, including allergies and other concerns, make sure to notify us ahead of time so that we can prepare for your pet's arrival.
-- Choose someone as your emergency contact in case you can't be reached and make sure that this person knows that they are your contact and give them the same important safety information that you will be providing us.
-- If your pet is rarely boarded, arrange for a short session prior to your trip so that your dog can get comfortable with the staff and used to the routine.
